PG Management (manager app)
This policy explains what information the PG Management manager app collects, why it is collected, and how it is handled. The app is used by paying-guest (PG) owners, wardens and property managers to manage rooms, occupants, rent and complaints.

Information we collect
- Manager account details — the user ID or username issued to you, and your name, email address and phone number where provided.
- Occupant records you enter — occupant name, phone number, email address, and identity or KYC documents you upload on their behalf.
- Photos and documents — images you choose from your device to attach to an occupant or property record.
- Rent and payment records — invoice amounts, due dates and paid/unpaid status. The app does not process payments and does not collect card, bank or UPI credentials.
- Property records — property, floor, room and bed details you create.
The app does not collect your device location, does not use an advertising identifier, and does not show advertising.
Why we collect it
- To provide the app’s core functions: room and bed allocation, occupant onboarding, rent tracking, complaints and notices.
- To manage your manager account and authenticate you when you sign in.
This data is required to use the app; it is not optional.
How data is stored and protected
Data you enter is transmitted to our servers over an encrypted HTTPS connection and stored there. Access is restricted to the PG business the account belongs to and to authorised administrators.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or analytics. Data is shared only where required by law, or with service providers who host the application on our behalf and are bound to process it only for that purpose.
Retention and deletion
Records are retained while the account is active and for as long as needed to keep property and rent history. Manager accounts are created and removed by the PG administrator; the app does not offer in-app account creation or self-service deletion.
To request deletion of your data, email ankitpahal2000@gmail.com from the address associated with your account, stating your manager user ID. We will confirm and action the request within 30 days, except where records must be retained to meet a legal obligation.
Occupants’ data
Managers enter data about occupants of their property. The PG business is responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and store that information, and for informing occupants about it.
Children
The app is intended for adults aged 18 and over who manage PG properties. It is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new “last updated” date.
